    I actually bought a used drill ($9) that matches my 19.2v that I already use so I always have a battery charged, and one of those 18w LED flood lights for tractors. It is super bright, doesn't look factory but that's not an issue. I actually can't wait for more snow so I can really test it out now that I got the parts I was waiting on. Thanks again for documenting what you did.

    I used to run the old motor wide open all the time just to get it to throw, haven't needed over half throttle yet and we've had 28 inches since Wednesday night. Never was able to cut thru the street plow piles before, now it's no problem. My neighbor came by jealous already. Do you have lamps running on yours? I haven't touched the electrics. Still have the trans and belt covers off since I'm waiting on a rubber trans disc and want to change the trans belt size.

    Mine was 5hp, puked oil out the exhaust. I got the engine from FedEx on Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning I was throwing snow.

    Found this place by googling your handle from your review of the HF motor. Just wanted to say thanks. I was about panicked when I saw two drives out the back of my Techumseh motor.

    Gusto Guy, I'm brand new to this site, A friend just gave me a MG unitrol, looks like the pic of your machine, except the carburetor is mounted on the fuel tank, and thelinkage for the auger is short and down low on the right hand side near the right rear tire, I think it is older than your model, no info tags on it anywhere, just fired it up today to get rid of 8" of snow here in Ct. Would you have any pertinent info on the machine, not sure of engine size or year, it is in very good shape, needs some tlc, I love older equipment or anything mechanical, from toys to tanks, any info would be greatly apreciated.
    P.S. Your machine looks beautiful, I would like to get mine in that class, I know it's worth it. Thanks, Pete

    And I agree with you about the chinese motors...they are new and here to stay. Just have to maintain them with the proper fluids and maintenance.

    For starters, thanks for the add...I'm glad I have at least one friend on this forum now haha.
    As for my 32, it's going quite well. I know you've seen my thread about it, so the majority of things have been posted on there. Since then however, I got my belt ordered and mounted up, broke in the engine, jetted my carb, and swapped on some new tires & wheels; the new ones are from my 71 Ariens but they have chains on it for the traction. Currently I'm working on making a new belt cover and covers for the carb and the starter. I can't wait to see it in action, I know it's going to be an animal. I'll definitely take a video of it.
    Unfortunately with the cold weather and lack of time, this machine won't be 100% restored until the spring though...

    Hey, thanks for the info! I did watch the video's and have checked out the build. That is a beast! Just a couple of things that keep rolling around in my head 1) Would a smaller pulley for the drive eliminate the need to change out the lower pulley so that the speeds weren't so high? 2) I see that the belt is a 3L for the drive, and a 4L for the auger. I'm assuming that you used the same v belt pulley (type a/b which is for a 4L belt) for both? I really appreciate the advice!

    Do you happen to know the part number for the pulley for the 6.5 hp predator motor that you used?
