New (to me) Honda HS724

Picked up a 2000 HS724 over the holidays and waited patiently for the first big storm. Was able to clear today for the first time, about 12Ē had fallen overnight. Yahoo!

Tuned up the machine, oil change, spark plug and general fluid for application. Unit seems to be in good working order, hoping for many years of keeping this beast alive!

Learning lots on here - only issue is when really cold the drive lever seems to be slow to release, Iíve got to put it to neutral if I want it to stop.

may be as simple as pulling boot off drive cable and spraying some cable lube in. any cracks on breaks in that cables sheath?
if so , probably a new cable is in order.
