Toro 826 dies when microswitch disengages

I just cleaned and tuned the carb on my 1978 Toro 826. Starts, idles and revs pretty good. But anytime I start to move any lever the snow blower dies. So basically before there is even a load put on the motor it dies. I noticed with the gear lever there is a neutral switch (called microswitch on part fiche) and once the lever no longer pushes it the engine dies, which is long before the lever locks any gear. I can push the blower with booth clutches engaged and I can turn the auger by hand without a problem so I think there is nothing seized. Anyone know what where I should be looking?

I've gone crazy diagnosing the micro switch safetys...usually it isn't the switches, but the little module on the block that the safetys plug into. I've spent hours testing micro switches and tracing wires and it is always the safety module on the block. I got them on e-bay as Toro discontinued them.

Sorry Bandito.....I've done so many Toros in the last few years I'm misremembering...I looked up the 38150 Toro 826 with the Briggs engine on partstree .com and didn't find the module I thought would be there. I fixed a few last year with the one I was thinking of but they were from the 80's...my bad
