RedOctobyr Just noticed this machine is now $100.

RedOctobyr Huh. My 318cc OHV Tecumseh is also 3600 +/-150, but mine got a 10hp sticker Perhaps there's some marketing shenanigans going on with my machine...

tpenfield I'd grab it, but I already have one.

BTW - the only difference that I could find between the 8 hp and 9 HP OHV Tec's was the RPM setting. 8 HP is set to 3200 RPM and the 9 is set to 3600 . . .

Kiss4aFrog Hopefully someone will grab it and have the time to tinker with it.

gibbs296 Looks good to me! A bit complex, but a great summer project! I have to go through the trans on my PS that sits torn apart in the corner of the garage. It appears to be a fairly straightforward process. It's just finding the time to do it. The Craigslist machine looks great!

Toro Powershift 924, $120, Boston area

Toro Powershift 924, OHV Tecumseh, $120. It was $145 the other day.

Transmission is having trouble, so that could be something expensive, given that it's a Powershift. But the machine looks to be in nice shape, and it's an OHV engine, so it's a younger PS.

If you had another PS with a good transmission, this could be a nice combo. Or maybe the transmissions aren't too bad to fix.
