Repowering a John Deere 726

Use the blower earlier this year and half way through clearing the driveway the engine locked up. Took it apart and found the connecting rod broke in two. Went down to the local Harbor freight store and bought the 212cc predator engine. Was an easy swap. I did have to torch the short studs out of the mounting plate. Removed the bottom skid plate to allow their removal and install longer (11/2 long bolts) Engine bolted right up. Everything went together just like everyone elses description. Extended the bracket for the shoot crank. Added oil and gas. Started on the second pull. I only paid 100 bucks for the blower a year ago and another 100 for the new engine. Nice big blower for 200 dollars total. Now just wait for the next snow. Cant upload any pictures, I suppose to a lack of post count
