Question Power shift repower issues?

Greetings.

I seem to call a thread where someone had mentioned that they had repowered a Toro Power Shift with a Predator motor and ran into more issues than they would have on a regular drive blower. Does anyone have any recall on that?

TIA

K

Was it recently or several years ago. I don't recall seeing any threads of that nature in the past year or so.

Do you have a Powershift looking for a re-power?

I think that it was some time ago. I came across the thread after search on another Predator question I had, but I dont recall when it was started.

I'm looking at one with a blown motor.

Thanks for the response.

I can't say for sure but the two I have I don't see anything special in how a replacement would be fitted to them.

Went out and looked at the small PowerShift (828) again and since the Mitsu has no electric start or lighting circuit I'm going to go with the B&S snow engine, new, electric start and a 60 watt lighting & hand warmer supply that I found. That's just so much nicer that the basic Predator. I'll likely end up putting the Mitsu up on Craigs and or Ebay to recoup a little $$$.
