Unknown single stage mtd snowblower rust problem

The engine runs, its got great compression, but i watched some videos of the same snowblower, and im missing a chunk out of the auger (which was due to the coat of rust brown that you can tell someone didnt take good care of this snowblower) (the piece that its missing throws the snow up into the nossle) should i make my own part or is there a site where i can buy new ones of these? Thanks. If i find a way to get a photo on this i will.

Most likely it's a peace of rubber. If so get an old tire and cut out the side in the size u need

Welcome to the forum! If you're using Tapatalk, I think you can attach a photo that way. If you can upload the pic to a service like https://imgur.com/, you can post a link to the photo. I don't think you need to create an account with imgur.com to upload a pic there.

At a bare minimum, at least try to post a model #, so people can look up the machine. The model # will also make it much easier to look up a parts list, figuring out what you need, and what it costs.

Hopefully the damaged piece is just the rubber!
