4300 rpm 212

Turned it up a little


1989 John Deere 1032
1979 Toro 5/24 38040 (now a 6.5)
1978 Ariens S16H Tractor & Plow

Sounds real good, but I think your going to need jogging shoes to keep up with it, even in first gear.

If your desire is to throw snow further, I would think a better way would be to change pulley size. On the other hand, if you get HF engines for free, go for it !

The mini-bike forums say to keep it under 4000 RPM if you want the engine to live a long time.

it sounds pretty happy at this rpm

but can always move the lever back some to drop down 3600

...and save 4300 for that "extra push over the cliff"
