Predator 212cc engine? 3 models? differences?

There are 3 predator 212cc engines. I emailed them, but got a strange generic answer (Unfortunately I deleted it). Basically it said all were essentially the same and operate the same, that differences were due to different parts and suppliers?????????? What? Harbour Freight maybe uses that answer for screwdrivers they sell, but engines?? See very bottom of post.

6.5 HP (212cc) OHV Horizontal Shaft Gas Engine EPA
Item # 60363

6.5 HP (212cc) OHV Horizontal Shaft Gas Engine EPA
Item # 69730

6.5 HP (212cc) OHV Horizontal Shaft Gas Engine EPA/CARB
Item # 69727

The numbers in red are different? Any body know what is different?

Thanks

Don't hold me to this, I am just sitting down for a minute and did not verify this. I could be off.
60363 = Hemi head
69730 = non hemi head
69727 = non hemi head California compliant

One has a "Hemi" combustion chamber and one is California CARB approved.

Which is better? Hemi head or non hemi head? don't need california compliant

And thank you for clarifying the models. harbor freight could not do that.

even if the hemi-head version has no stock performance gain over the others.....at least you can say.."yeah...its got a hemi in it !".
i have read that the go kart guys love the hemi version, as it can be modded to make a whole lot more hp than stock.

i personally like the hemi 60363 version because they do seem to run smoother stock, have a bit more power stock, and have a revised muffler which is a bit quieter then the 69730 non hemi variant. they are all from the same supplier as far as i know

I picked one up a month ago or so when they were on sale. In a stack of say 18-20 boxes, about half were the hemi part number, and the other half were not. They must have moved this stack a few times, because they were all shuffled. I knew the hemi had the 60XXX number and the other was a 69XXX So I grabbed a hemi box.
I just thought it was odd that at my store there was plenty of both, and they were all intermixed in the display. Your milage may vary.

I got the hemi version last year for my Toro 521 repower, as it seems to be a slightly better version. So, if you can get one, why not ?
