212 Predator idle jet

I was cleaning the idle jet diameter with some micro drills and it got caught and broke off. I feel like a moron. I know better than to force this kind of thing.
I thought I read somewhere on here the stock idle jet dia was .017/.018". Am I mistaken? Either it was full on junk or it is actually something like .014/.015.

I was running a .015" drill bit by hand through it and it got caught and broke off inside of it. I thought I was just removing debris and not stock material.

Where can I get a new idle jet for the 212cc Predator carb. relatively fast?
Is there any kind of choice of jet diameters? If so what do folks recommend based on their experience.

Thanks!

Wow, that is cheap.
just the pilot jet is $5 at OMB, but then there will be shipping

I wonder if the $18 carb is the same as OEM>

Amazing that the entire carb is cheaper than the jet with shipping? Looks like this carb has an adjustable pilot jet which is a plus.

OMB is a great source for Predator parts : https://www.ombwarehouse.com/Perform...c-Racing-Parts
I installed a jet kit in my Predator clone (Honda GX160)

Thanks for that feedback. Unfortunately i need the pilot jet which is not included in this kit. OMB does have some nice options available.

What benefits have you seen but going with the 140 emulsion tube and much bigger main jet? Which jet from this kit did you find worked best.?

I know with the stock emulsion tube folks have reported an .032" main jet seems to work good with the engine running not too rich or too lean.
Thanks.

It's in a pressure washer and I used the .036
It doesn't seem to strain as much when it's pumping. The engine sounds healthier.

ok, that is good feedback. I just assume it was in a cold weather application.............. like a snowblower.

Can anyone explain to me why the 140 emulsion tube provides better performance? It appears to have fewer cross drilled holes in it.
Thanks!
