You want to fine tune it for your engine/application not a set it and forget it pre-set.

With engine warmed up and at speed turn in until begins to stumble then turn out until it begins to stumble then set halfway between the two and your good 99% of the time.

I always set the mixture with the Auger engaged so there is some load on the engine. Most times these engines will hunt when in a no-load condition.

I went onto Ebay and attempted to find one and it seems they are no longer available. Truly a unique and very clever modification! Seems to me that selling a few mods for those engines would be a good idea due to their popularity with so many different groups (mini bike, gokart, etc).

I saw the other thread where another Jedi level member (Waterlooboy2hp) made them and offered them for sale. I thought it was awesome to see someone working the problem and coming up with a solution. Very nice work!

Why not contact the seller either thru here or eBay to see if any more are available? It looks like the most recent auction ended on 12/03/16.

I was going to get one for a buddy but decided to skip it. I repowered his snowblower as a Christmas gift and was exploring options to winterize the Predator. I had a jet for a clone carb and drilled it out to .030 . I didn't install it due to time running short today but may put it in if the engine surges in cold weather.

The adjustable main jet also fits and works great on a LCT 208cc.
Ariens AX engine.
