Simplicity 860DLX very slow reverse

Late last year, I noticed when going into reverse, it was very slow. Five forward gears are fine. What would be the first thing to look at? I have opened the bottom cover and do not see anything broken. The belt is intact. Any advice would be appreciated.
This is a Simplicity Model 860DLX Snow thrower.

You Need to Adjust the Friction Wheel Position. With the Bottom Cover off in the service position, Put in reverse. Note the Friction Wheel will be a bit off center in relation to the drive plate. You need to adjust it to be More Off Center.
