Unhappy reset password not working

I've had an account here for a few years but haven't posted in a while. When I tried to log in my password was not valid. I went through the process of requesting a new one and got an email to click that reset my password, but a new one was never sent. I'd like to use that account instead of this new one I just created.

Help please.

Dave,
You wont be sent a new password, you create the new one yourself.

The email you were sent should have a link to click on, that takes you to a page where you can create your new password..that should let you back in to your old account..

Try that, and let us know how it goes.

The link definitely said that my password had been reset and that a new one would be emailed to me. It finally was sent, but it took about half an hour.

Back with my old account now anyway.
