should we just block visitor messages if the only ones using it are spammers?

Or block new users from using it?

hey jack, when you tried to delete your visitor messages did it give you the option to Physically remove the message or just the soft delete option? you would want to physically remove them if its giving you that option

I've run into that too. Not sure when or why but have only been given soft delete option. When it's spam I end up going in a different way or two until I can get an actual physical remove of the post.

you need to do this through your mod controls... regular users can only soft delete.
the issue with allowing non-mods/admins these permissions is that they could delete something relevant and we won't be able to recover that.
