Sno-Tek 24 vs Briggs 27?

I was wondering which is more reliable... The Sno-Tek 24" or the Briggs and Stratton 1227MD? I like the Sno-Tek because it is made by Ariens but I like the features on the Briggs better.

Briggs:

Sno-tek:

Which one will be more reliable and handle the snow better?

I have zero experience with either of these. However, I am a fan of the build quality of Ariens products and the auger gear case seems to be quite similar on the Snotek. I would lean in that direction if I were buying.

Wake me up when the snow's done...

Not really sure who makes the blower for Briggs but as Iíve said the Sno-Tek would be my go to, Just went through one last night and will be finishing up tonight and putting a post on it, Many of the same parts on the compact also.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

Briggs makes the blower for Briggs..
there is really no data on "which is more reliable".
Both brands are highly regarded..IMO, either would be a fine choice.
From a quality standpoint, I would consider them about the same..
