On my 7100 it is a 1/16 cable @ 96 inches long. I replaced it once, and from what remember, it wrapped around the chute and connected to the rotating drum under that cover in the photo.

I have a complete 7010-0 SnowBird. It has some issues, including a stuck valve in the H50 Tecumseh, cracked crank for the chute control. Tires are good. I hate to junk it. I live in northern NJ which puts us 3 hrs apart. Let me know if you are interested in the entire unit and maybe we can meet half way
