Correct Color Paint

I wondered what kind of luck guys have had coming up with a correct color match for Snowbird red.

1962 or '63 Snow Bird S-225
1989 John Deere 524

easiest way is to take a removable part to the spray paint area and find one that's very close . rustolinum seems to have many of the closest to

I'd try Rustoleum Gloss Apple Red spray a couple paint sticks, or popsicle sticks with the primer your using. When dry, paint these, let dry, compare color match . Another consideration is gloss, the paints of your machine's era were not as glossy as todays high tech paint. Rustoleum Satin Clear can tone down and overly glossy finish
