S-261 Maintenance or Operators Manual

Just picked up this machine in great shape, and want to put a new recoil rope on it before it breaks. I know it is a task, yet makes sense to do it now. Whole machine is in very good shape, although I sense the carb needs a rebuild.

Anyone have any type of manual for this 61 snowbird?

I do have some Snowbird manuals, but unfortunately not for the 261. I do have some Briggs engine manuals for engines that were used on Snowbirds however..if you can find the engine model number, send me an email to: sscotsman at yahoo dot com
and I will see if I have a manual for that engine model..

Thanks sscotsman for this effort. Unfortunately can't find any model numbers on this B&S engine, yet that's OK, as I've got it runnin. Attaching a picture of the Snowbird.
