Just sharing some research I did a year ago on finding the best-quality rubber to use if you want to make your own impeller kits.
I almost lost my results so I've posted them here if anyone is interested.
If I recall correctly, it's the same quality of rubber that snow-plows use where the blade meets the road. You can imagine the beating they take!
Super durable and should last a long time.
So did it work?
Maybe contact PhilipB in that screen scrape and ask him ...What the F? ;-)
EDIT: or maybe you accidentally fat-fingered something... it's so easy to do on a phone.. especially for me...that's why I don't use them
So I just wasted a bunch of time installing tapatalk on my android to see what's going on.
I get the same spam popping up that you did from your buddy "PhilipB on MTF"
I wondered if he mistyped that and the M should be a W?
My conclusion.... Tapatalk and phones in general leave something to be desired and I will uninstall it again
I used to be a software architect so this kind of amateurism triggers my darker side!
Doesn't anybody actually test their software anymore? <rhetorical> ;-)
I guess it's just another "race to the bottom" of quality mediocrity
Don't get me started.... like the green guy says...you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. ;-)
Hey I'm off to watch the eclipse.. it's happening as we speak... should be 92% covered here in Denver.
I thought about starting a thread "What did YOU do during the eclipse".. then I thought... nah.
100% eclipse has never been seen exclusively in the USA mainland since the day the country was founded... celebrated on July the 5th I think or thereabouts. ;-) http://time.com/4907357/total-solar-eclipse-2017-america/
I'm excited! I don't have much of a life these days though.
Thanks for confirming that Pete
.
It's some weird tapatalk problem so I'm not too worried.
Well.. I am worried.. but I need to choose my battles. They need to get there own act together. I'm not going to do it for them.
I have little or no interest in phones.. I cannot see the screen and my fingers are too fat for the touch-screen keyboards.
Right now I'm fighting the Photobucket battle and just sent an email that will be forwarded to the CEO's personal inbox... fingers crossed.
The rubber skirt board used to control and reduce conveyor spillage is resistant to wear but not strong enough to act as a paddle like a thick piece of conveyor belt is as it has many layers of weaved kevlar cordage sandwiched between layers of rubber sheet that is glue vulcanized when conveyor belt is assembled at the rubber factory.
The other thing is conveyor belt has a thick side which is the impact side where the ores are dumped and the return side where it is only in contact with the idlers and pulleys of a conveyor belt.
The hard red Urethane rubber is what is used on plows and would work very well for the impeller housing rubber scrapers that clarence uses on the impeller paddles where he uses conveyor belt pieces to make the paddles.
