I need help identifying Make and shear bolt issue

So, this all starting a few days ago when the snowblower my dad gave me (was bought new by my grandfather in 1988 ish?) blew a shear bolt.

So, Ive been googling and searching and everything the last 3 days looking for more info on my blower.

All I had was that my dad thought it mightve come from Sears back then, and that he wasnt sure.
I found the ID tag but all that was visible was the address 155 Orenda Road Brampton, after some searching I found out that was Nomas old stomping grounds..........

I went out with a black marker hoping that the serial and model was stamped in and I could bring them up...

I did, the tag says

SC522
Snow Commander
96069

It looks like a Noma Grand Prix and Estate (with the exception of the throttle control on the part with the engagement lever for the auger)

So now that I know what the tag says its even harder to find info on it.

Tried, Noma, Craftsman, Canadiana, Murray, Mastercraft......nothing.

If it is a Noma it doesnt have the one side bigger then the other shear pin........Ive taken off the one that was still intact but I cant see the broken one for the life of me.

Any help at all would be greatly greatly appreciated.

She's not the prettiest girl at the party, but she starts on the first pull 98 percent of the time.

You don't need the model number to find the shear pins.

The only thing you need is the diameter of the hole, and the length, then you can match it up. The hole probably is 1/4", then you only need the length. Type the size into Amazon, you'll find it.

1986 Ariens ST522, 5hp, 22"
1995 Murray Craftsman 10hp, 29" w. 12" impeller
A 1983 Real John Deere 10hp, 32" w. 12" impeller, 16" auger, 20" high front, cast iron gear box, chains
Noma 9hp, 27" w. 12" impeller
Noma 5hp, 24" w. 12" impeller, 20" high front
Gravely Convertible, 12hp Kohler cast iron, 26" width, 600 lbs of cast iron & steel, 2 speed impeller, 4 ground speeds
Dynamark 8hp, 26", 12" impeller, for sale
Several other 5hp, 8hp, several 2 cycle, all for sale

Replacement bolts acquired.
Now I just need to get the one that broke off in the axle out.

Anyone have any thoughts on the make of this thing?

I'm hoping to get some replacement parts and spending some time repairing and painting this thing over the summer.

Slick thinking with black marker on the tag, to make it legible.

For getting the shear bolt out, I've rotated the augers on the shaft until I'm lined up with the hole, and can see the whole face of the shear bolt. Then I used a round punch, and a mallet, and drove it out.

One time I had one that was somewhat bent, and did not want to come out of the hole. I used a Dremel to grind off one end of the bolt, until I could get it out with the punch.

Thanks. I guess spying on all those cheating girlfriends writing notes in high school paid off.

Finally got the bolt out after dremeling and grinding.
