Murray 21 inch snow thrower

My older model Murray 21 inch is chewing thru gas. I only use high test gas and oil mixture. It is a few years old but I was wondering if there is something I can do to prevent this? There is no smell of gas in the garage so I'm guessing it isn't leaking that I can see or smell. I run quickly to do my driveway and usually I can get three driveways done before the full tank is empty. Any ideas?

Does it have an air filter, and if yes, is it clean?

Depending on the amount of snow you are moving and the size of your gas tank it doesn't seem that far out of line to run out of gas after doing three driveways. Sometimes just one driveway will be enough to run the tank almost dry depending on the amount of snow and the size of the driveway.

It has been better in the past years, so that I why I noticed it going quicker on the gas than before. I used to be able to do quick a few driveways before it ran out. Now it seems I am lucky to get three - and that is me running up and down the driveway to get it finished.
