Troy Bild 2013 26" snow machine RPM issue

Experts,

I am dealing with RPM issue on high, the engine runs a bit funky, like it would die or surging. If I change the choke to the middle it seems like fix the problem but it make engine weak.

Assuming cleaning carburetor would fix it?

Thank you

welcome to the forum ! a thorough carb cleaning would be a good place to start, and do take detailed pics of where the rods and springs are connected !
