Ariens AX Governor linkage diagram

Can someone lead me to a linkage diagram for the 12.5 HP Ariens AX? I was having issues this winter and tracked it down to springs on Governor Linkage. One is broken and I ordered replacements but do not know exactly how to attach them.

You will need to remove the cowling from the gas tank, just the front part that I think joins at the corner with the side cowling where the starter switch is located. Then you can access the governor spring at the front (PTO end) of your engine. The spring is mounted to the governor arm and the engine cooling baffle plate (as 1132le pointed out in the post with pictures). That anchor plate position can vary a little from one machine to another and so max rpm may be a little different as a result.

Good luck.
