When I picked up my Simplicity Signature Pro several years ago the shop guy at the dealer told me to take a small screw driver and stick it between the little ears on the lower oil caps that are not used on both sides of the engine to make sure they are tight before each use. He had seen them work loose during use.

I normally glue the off side filler plug shut. Had them come out before.

Drill through the posts that stick up for your fingers to turn, and use stainless safety wire just like they do on aircraft and race vehicles.
