Ariens carb adjustment for altitude

I bought a new Ariens RapidTrak. It has a 3rd gen 269cc engine. I live in California in the Sierras at 6200 feet.

The manual says that if you live above 5000 feet, you should adjust the carb to make the fuel mixture leaner. Wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on how to do this myself.
