Simplicity 860 SE won’t move

Hi I have a simplicity 860 SE model that I’ve ysed for years with minimal problems. Last snow storm it worked through the hole storm I stopped for a moment to clean up some stuff went back to move the blower back into the shed and it wouldn’t move at all in forward or reverse.

I checked the sher pins on the front were the auger is and both are ok. I then took the panel off and when I finally got it open there was a single spring laying there with one side of the hook on the pinball broken off. All the belts seem to be ok and clearly this spring is the issue. I’m having trouble figuring out where exactly it goes too. Any help would be much appreciated.
