Need a bit of a pros advice here: Engine noises [with a video]

Need a bit of advice here: Look and listen to this machine up-and-down engine run:

What did I do so far:
1. Purged the fuel, put new.
2. Added these fuel add-ons that clean the fuel system clean. twice.
3. Replaced the spark plug with a new one.
4. Disassembled the carburetor completely, cleaned it thoroughly, applied the spray that clens carburetor to wherever I could. Put the whole thing back.
Same ****. Nothing changed. Exact same sound.
Any ideas from the pros ?

Welcome to the forum! What were you adjusting during the video? Is that the choke control? Or throttle?

It sounds like it's surging due to running lean. Does adding choke help smooth it out?

Is there a fuel filter? Are you getting good fuel flow to the carb? (If you disconnect the line from the carb, do you get a good stream of gas from it?)

Is anything in the governor linkage sticking or binding?

Dirty carb, it may look clean but it's not, replace unless you can do a better job, the ultimate is an ultrasonic cleaner.

May need to drill carb jet, to create a richer mixture . I'd also like to ask, did choking it smooth idle ? If choke smooths idle, Jet too lean . Check for vacuum leaks at carb to manifold gasket, use spray bottle and water .

Carb is not clean enough. The carbs on those can be a challenge to get clean. Knock off carbs are pretty cheap on Ebay. On those you need to take the idle screw out and pull out the black low speed jet under it. Turn the idle screw in, counting the turns. And reinstall with the same turns of the idle screw. I also drill out the jets on those a little bit. You can get an ultrasonic cleaner at Harbor Freight, and use some Simple Green, to clean it.
