Chain lube

I did the pre-season maintenance on my Ariens Platinum 24 today, and noticed I needed some Ariens gear lube. Went to Jack's and while ordering, noticed they sell a product just for chains. I guess it's designed for motorcycle chains, but was wondering about using it on the chain inside the Ariens? Says it works it's way into each link and stays there. Sounds interesting.

Has anyone ever used a chain lube on their snowblower and what did you think the year after. Still there, gummy or clean?

If its good motorcycle chain oil, it wont run off like motor oil will, and wont make a mess. It has tackifiers in to make it thicken up after the solvents evaporate out of it, so it wont run off, so use it.
