I just bought these products at Home Depot. The cover should be fine because it was this or a regular tarp, but I’m curious about the polymer spray. Anyone used this before and have any feedback on it? I recall a similar spray protectant/lubricant being mentioned on here but couldn’t remember the brand and couldn’t find it in a search. Any thoughts on the cover or spray are appreciated!
I used the Rain-X Spray Wax for the first time … I had no snow build up in the chute, but then again, I never really did … ? I have used there windshield repel on my windshields with great success, so figured I would try there water repel spray wax ..
At least Ill be able to wax the machines easily …
If your going to keep the blower stored outside, I would at least cover it, and also get yourself some of those plastic breathable bags of mothballs to keep on and around it, at least it will repel the vermin. Get them at Wally World.
Also, park it up on some 2x6 or 2x8, pressure treated … don't leave it on the ground contact.
Put some untreated wood or rubber/plastic material between the PT and the metal of the front end/skids. The PT chemicals can accelerate corrosion of bare metal.
Yeah I’ve got the cover on it now... fits better than a tarp would I’m glad I spent the extra dough... I’ll report back on the spray. Might as well use it
