bolens Sheave 1793456

Looking for a source for part # 1739456 drive sheave for my old 1988 Bolens 1032 snowblower. This part number is out of the bolens parts catalog and the number is the same for MTD brand. This is the double groove pulley. A google search doesn't come up with much for me which I thought was surprising. Any Ideas?

Does it look like this?

I've never seen one for sale, the dual groove pulley is rare as they only came on the 1026 and the 1032.

Yes that looks like the setup. It's the larger double groove pulley on the impeller shaft that's not seen in your picture. Mine is a 1032 model I purchased in 1989. Still going strong. Would like to replace the pulley due to a wobble. A little more searching and I just ordered one online from Lawnmowerpros.com. $22.00. Hoping they actually have it and can come through for me.

Lawnmowerpros did not have and cannot get it. Back to the drawing board. Anyone know how to accurately straiten a pully?

No joy on eBay either. Mineís not all that bad. Iím just fussy. I find it hard to believe these are not available. Itís a simple double groove pulley. Iíll have to keep looking for now.

IF your Bolens uses a differential as mine did, suggest you grease it

Been greased many times via an added grease fitting.
