Stupid Human Trick

Happened to be distracted and hand pushed my turned off machine forward for maybe 30-40 feet while it was in reverse...finally realized it was tough going and put it into neutral. But wondered if this can hurt the disc or something else when doing this stupid manoeuver?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the forum members. Wife is cooking a huge 18 lb. Turkey as I write this post. It's going to be Turkey samiches till June

If I'm following correctly, don't worry, nothing happened to the machine. The gear-select lever just controls the position of the rubber wheel on the metal friction disk.

But it only actually touches the metal friction disk when you squeeze the drive-engage handle. If you had been squeezing the lever, you probably wouldn't have been able to move the machine at all by hand.

So all that happened was that the rubber wheel floated over one location of the friction disk, rather than floating over another location of the disk. No harm done, nothing in the machine would have even noticed.
