Runs fine while blowing snow, rough when not.

Hi all,
Replaced the carb on my 1980s vintage Noma Canadiana this fall and it fired right up and ran great. Now we finally have some snow this week and this is what I am experiencing. While I am blowing the snow, it runs fine, but once I let it idle the engine slow revs and sounds like wants to stall out. New gas always with stabilizer.
TIA

I understand there is a screw adjustment on many throttle assemblies allowing you to adjust your idle speed. It would be under the housing. There are good youtube videos showing how to do this.

Maybe the idle jet is dirty and somewhat clogged. I believe that controls the mixture at partial-throttle, like when you aren't actually blowing snow. Does adding partial choke help smooth it out?

Mine was doing the same thing and the maintenance described in this video worked well for me:
