sno-tek 920404 chute crank lube?

The directional crank for the discharge chute on my ariens sno-tek model 920404, has become very tight and difficult to turn. Does anyone know how to lube it? I can't seem to find anything about this in the owner's manual.

Garage
My guess would be you might have some corrosion/rust at the bottom of the discharge chute where it rotates against the auger housing. Might want to try to get some oil or grease between the two and work it back and forth a little to see if it helps.

FYI: the service manual recommends regular greasing with Stens Sten Mix High Temp (red). You grease at the join where the chute rotates on the housing.
