Arien 824 stalled after the storm?

So it worked well today. When I needed it for 99% of the job! I recently Just did a carb. rebuild 2 weeks ago. IT has been performing well. then today after about 2 hours 1 for the driveway another for the dog path (15 year old Jake) around the house! The 13 year old Arien's starts dying on me. I just refilled the tank with the airline fuel my neighbor give us (which happens to be about 6 months old)(maybe make another post on that subject) Could that be the problem?
That's the only thing I can think of as far as change? I started it up later on sounded OK but not great? what else should I consider?
thx

Is it possible that you maybe forgot to tighten up something in/on the carb? I'm not questioining your work but it sometimes happens that one step gets overlooked. But, always start w/the easiest fix first. Plug, gas cap, old gas etc and work from that direction.
Let us know what you find. Hope you get it running well soon.

What do you mean by airline fuel? Does it look/smell like normal gas?

If that was the most obvious change, I might drain that gas (including the carb bowl) and put in normal gas. Definitely if the airline fuel looks/smells weird.

As I understand it, some "avgas" is leaded, and quite high-octane, 100+. Perhaps that could make our engines run strangely, due to being harder to ignite.

You might start with the basic so spark plug check and probably add some fuel stabilizer as I wish the gas was newer that you know is 6 months but how much time in the airport's tank as well. Gas cap that let air in good?
Good Luck

Smells and looks good! YES it is some grade of Avgas Not sure exactly which one. But it has a blueish/green swimming pool kinda of look to it. Quite a few of us on the street use it. Since our neighbor graciously supplies us with it. I never had a problem with it yet been using it in allot of other garden tools and such. The great thing about this gas is its ability to store long periods for the off seasons.
Micah and Normex Will start with the basics. As far as checking my work it ran well for 3-4 snow days hard without a hitch?
PS this Pilot/Airline Mechanic uses it in all his machines and his Model-T
