Garage
I'm thinking it's worn towards the back of the bucket and it's just the auger hitting the housing itself that kept the shaft from eating all the way through the bearing mount ??

I guess for craigslist listing purposes you can say lightly used, just needs a bearing installed with a little JB weld, easy fix.

One of my Ariens is like that where they went through the bushing and started using the aluminum bushing retainer as the bushing !!

.
Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!

This is what summer is for, instead of working in a cold a$$ garage. These machines need a certain amount of TLC when YOU want to work on them.
