For an older Columbia (MTD).

What is the part number ?? Where does it go ?? I can't find a diagram of that model number.

ive no idea of a part number.. it mates up the chute control crank down by the chute.. provides some sort of adjustment to get close or further for... gearlash?? for lack of better term..

called my small engine shop.. he called back with one of those.... `its still available.. i think... ill try to get a price on it for you.. `

and ive not heard back yet.. which this time of year.. is pretty normal.. calling him tomorrow during break at work.. he`s managed to unstuck me many-a-times thus far.. if not.. dollar store cutting board we go

  • Replaces Part Numbers: 706-15726 and 70615726

I did find a diagram but it wasn't for your model. I just spent a lot of time pulling up MTD machines and looking for the part.

I've never had any luck with pulling up Canadian machine model numbers from MTD or Craftsman (MTD) on line. I'd give you the link but I have no idea where I was when I ran across it.

It's like Yamaha. You guys (Canadians) get some stuff we (U.S.) only dream about.
