All the modifications worked, so far

Well, just blew about 4 inches of combined wet sloppy snow, slush and water. The 7 inch extension to the chute deflector seemed to work, channeled the water out without drenching me. The impeller mod was blowing water about 2o feet, where it used to basically fall out of the chute and land on the bucket. Have to take a look at the paddles after some of the slush melts out of there to see how they fared after their first trial by fire (or slush). Throttle works perfect, nice slow speed warm up, and slow speed run to empty the carb of fuel now that I have a fuel shutoff.

Only problem is with all the water, I think the drive disk and friction wheel were getting wet and the drive suddenly quits for a few seconds then returns to life and away we go.

All this seemed to be great ideas when I did the work in a nice warm garage, but now that the weather has turned cold, and I have used the machine, and I am still vibrating, I remember why I am not that fussy about winter and like to spend february and march in Phoenix, AZ

Work fascinates me.
I can watch somebody work for hours...
