John Deere 160 snow thrower spins bacwards

Any help would be great! Blades spins opposite of wheels going forwards

the auger blades are spinning backwards right???????????? take them off and switch sides

Yes auger blades are spinning clockwise...
Are they two pieces?

that is a tractor mounted unit. I take it is mounted on the rear end of the tractor.

Lawn tractor front mount.

Blades spin upwards...
I've never had gear box apart...
