First start of the year

In the shed since March untouched. The tank was empty so I put some gas in it, opened the fuel valve, choked and primed, and it fired on the first pull. Fantastic!!!!! Apparently the JB Weld carb repair is still holding!!!

You don't remember the details of my life? I thought we were closer!!!

A few years ago I was fed up with the crummy idle. I disassembled a bunch and determined there was a problem in the idle passage next to the main just up the center. So I chiseled it apart, wired out the passages and managed to JB over it and keep the passage open. Idles like a big, rusty greasy kitten

The term "cheapskate" has been moved to the List of politically incorrect terms to describe people.

The new and approved term is "notoriously thrifty"

Work fascinates me.

And things are never "cheap" ... they are reasonable
