Nice job! I don't have a Lawnboy blower but I have quite a number of two-stroke Lawnboy mowers, so I appreciate your attention to detail! Where did you buy that big can of Grabber Green? All I ever found was very expensive, half-size cans.

It's engine enamel this is VHT, but Duplicolor makes it too. You can find VHT at Autozone, Duplicolor can be found at 90% of auto parts stores. Take your pick either are very close for about $5 to $7.

I currently have 3 lawn boy mowers. 1. Late 70s D engine with electronic ignition. 2. Early 80s pre compliance F engine. 3. One of the last year duraforce gold series with easy stride self propel.

Nice job on the skids. If I remember correctly, your blower is a Toro product.I have a Toro 521 that uses those same skids, which in my opinion are the worst design ever conceived. They catch on everything and get mangled in short order,as you obviously know.

I'm going to copy your photo and see if I can get my uncle,a former pro welder,to modify mine like that. Thanks much.
