Time stamp not correct...

Hi. Newbie here having problems with the site.

I am set up for (GMT - 5:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada), Bogota, Lima with DST corrections always ON.

I live in Central Vermont (New England State) and when I just posted a message, it showed the time as 3:32pm when it's actually 2:52pm at the time I posted the message.

What am I doing wrong or what setting do I not have set correctly?

Thanks,
Steve

Welcome Blackink, I don't think there was any intended malice toward your message, I think the poster was being humorous, considering your message got through. Above this message I believe is the answer to your issue by nwcove, if not check the forum tech support or help forum.
Once again, welcome Blackink.

It only switches by hours so there isn't a different setting. Might have been your computer, your ISP or an issue with the forum that caused the message to be delayed 40 minutes.

Next time or two you post see what time it's showing in the post. If there's a problem let us know or PM me to make sure I see it and I'll bring it to an admin.

I think Vinny was just trying to make a joke.

Steve, I noticed your time was off by 1 hour - just for the heck of it, try going to Atlantic/Canada time and see if that gets you back an hour and on time.

The only way I could get correct time stamp was GMT 6 central time Mexico city and it works.
