who is the moron who designed a building to have something stupid like that big of a glass panel? That is just asking to be broken. Imagine what would happen if some kid shot it out with a bb gun or a .22? sheesh.

I think the design is pretty cool actually. The glass shattered, but remained intact. The store is still open, so there's no apparent risk to the public. Moron or genius?

It's safety glass. Two glass pieces with a plastic middle layer. I don't think it's safe sitting there with all that weight above or wind. Engineer? I put that S G in kids' play house windows.
Calgary 1972. I had a pane of glass fall from 23 floors up, that hit just after I was inside the building entrance. Pane missed me by 10? feet. I thought a car had hit the building as it was just dusty outside. I'm reminded, that it was coming down as I was approaching the building. I took the biggest piece in the garbage can after my meeting. It was a 2" triangle. Still have the piece I think. Wasn't safety glass. I count that as life #4.
