Who's into their landscape/gardening

Grrrr...I hate heavy wet snow. Depending on the shrub at hand, splayed shrubs, lost blooms on shrubs. I mulch heavily on some to mitigate some of these issues. The big shrubs that are like a 6X6, can't do much.

Can't you do a big burlap wrap, or failing that at least cinch them up a little with some light rope ?

Yes and no. I do burlap, leaves, mulch, etc within reason.....but there's only so much one can overwinter ya know. In the winter, I'm ~wading~ in snow, right after a snowfall and I will dig out the tops and then take a stick around the edge of the shrub just to mitigate, some springtime splayed surprises.
