Thoughts about the forum

First off, welcome to all the new folks. I just wanted to say it is nice to see the huge increase in posts on here. This time last year was a ghost town! Again, welcome.

I think the number of posts increases and decreases in direct relation to temperature and snowfall.

I found this site about 4 yrs ago, just tooling around. There is a more broad site that has a lot of home improving stuff including snowblowers, but this site is quite specific.I am very happy to be here.

Me personally, just being proactive with maintenance and repairs with my old machines and this is the best resource I've found.

My profession requires researching billing that is not correct, all done on computers - dozens of systems, dozens of internal websites with documentation and how to's. So, when it comes to anything I own (lawn/snow equipment, vehicles, boats, electronics, etc), the internet is my "owner's manual and documentation".

I simply know how to research an issue and when I find a great source for fixes, I use the heck out of it. Like this site

Two of my blowers would be dead without this site last March and April and now work better than they ever had before when my parents owned them. The third was dead, I bought cheap as a parts machine - but now with one repair it now lives and is the best I own - all because of this site.

Thanks to all who've posted here through the years! And I hope to be able to pay back others with similar machines as mine in the future!

I joined late last year. I didn't know about this forum, but a search on the net about the very subject of this forum led me here, and I'm glad it did.

It was probably pretty quiet here from May to September.

I have been a member for a number of years. I generally don't come on here in the summer. I have different projects and different problems to solve. When the snow is falling it is very busy here and I frequent it a lot. Sometimes to get specific answers and other times to relax an see if I can help someone else.. Great people willing to share their experiences and help others. One of my favorite boards.
