Low miles, at 18k! Though that's not by choice, that's as far as it's managed to drive in the last 31 years.

I worked for a Ford dealership that also had several other brands, Subaru, Yugo! They sold 180 Yugos and had to put engines in 165 the first year. It only has 18,000 miles because he's afraid to drive it.

If you buy one of those cars, Yugonna regret it.

A Yugo owner pulls into a gas station. The attendant asks, "would you like a quart of oil for your Yugo?" The owner replies, "sounds like a fair trade to me!"

Etc. etc.

~1994 Ariens 924084 (ST1032) "papa bear": restored, re-engined, real nice!
1991 Ariens 924050 (ST824) "mama bear"
Toro PowerCurve 1800 "baby bear"

Be alert! America needs more lerts.

My response to this ad:

"This is an awesome car that strikes a conversation everywhere I go.
"

I'll bet it does.....but try not to take any of the ridiculing personally.

"Less than 18000 miles!"

Pretty typical. I mean: How many miles can you really rack up just going back and forth to the dealership for repairs?

"Runs and drives good".

Not doubting your word....but if a Yugo runs and drives good, there has to be something wrong with it.

"My family is too big for this car"

You left out the part about how none of them are willing to ride in this old Iron Curtain deathtrap.

"Leaks a little oil from valve cover but not too much."

Maybe that's because there are bigger leaks below the valve cover, and there's generally so little oil in it, it rarely makes it up to the valves.

"Minor body imperfections...."

That was a popular factory option back then.

"...but it still looks great".
And you included a picture. So I suppose you want us to believe you, as opposed to our lyin' eyes.

"May trade for something around the same value ....".

The only thing that I can think of, that has the same value would be a rusty old shopping cart. Guess I'm just out of luck, because I don't have one.
