Spiders dont bother me, whenever we find one in the house we capture it in a glass jar and put it outside..
(IMO no one should kill spiders, they are on our side.. without spiders and bats we would be knee-deep in other bugs!

There was one bug though that absolutely creeped me out in a major way..
we did kill them!
It was in my 20's when some college friends and I rented an apartment, (in a large, old, apartment building)
we didnt see these bugs often, but a few times a month one would come out of the woodwork to say hello:

warning: creepy:
House Centipede, No. 29 | Mississippi State University Extension Service

most are between 1 and 2 inches long.

We actually left that apartment when our lease was up, after only one year, just because of them..
haven't seen any since, thankfully.

my wife has agoraphobia ( fear of leaving house ) caused by a bad motorcycle accident we were in the the 1990's. it's not so bad now. we went to dr's and costco. I have a phobia about being around a lot of people. that is why i am comfortable on line.

don't know where that came from. use to be a party animal that loved big gatherings, concerts, etc.
