Chonda

i know we all wonder about who really makes the predators. i'm a little more interested as they are more and more common on nhra jr dragsters lately ,
IMM i feel their from loncin, yet who knows it's a tight bit of info as when one asks a harbor freight store manager, you get (we are not allowed to say)

we all know there is some tuning we can do to make them run better, some parts are direct swaps some not.

so how about a thread of information that fits all? what fits, what won't, how to tune, what makes them hotter running/working speedsters

https://ombwarehouse.zendesk.com/hc/...he-Difference-
in there one using the side and bottom links finds a lot of useful

who really makes the predators

Re the 212's, I think Lifan makes the non-hemi and Loncin makes the hemi

1979 Toro 5/24 38040 (now a 6.5)

If it's any indicator, the HF Predator Generators are a bone stock Loncin that is simply colored red. The identical product is available under several other trade names, as well as Loncin branded directly. Considering that this device also includes an engine branded as Predator, it's a bit of an indicator . . .

I didn't realize this was a mystery to some. The two 212cc Hemis I bought back in 2015 said Loncin right on the engine label. I still have one of them.

good to know yet i've looked at all the motors on display at many hf stores and never seen a loncin label even on the emission label.

see going into locins web site they are now making and selling v twins with EFI along with single bore diesels https://www.loncinindustries.com/en/...741-2146814498
