Flash back - 1974 and the cool stuff I had then.

GreatWhitebuff got me thinking with the Pontiac link.

So I'm posting these pics I took in 1974, I was in 8th grade. My stash of parts for my Tecumseh powered mini bike. Every thing was top secret, there was no way my parents would allow a go kart or mini bike.
Ha! fooled them... well here's the breakdown of the pic, best as memory serves me.

Dads 1967 10m
Cordo-matic drop light
Brookins 1 gal can I had for cutting grass, paid $3.00 for it!
B&G furnace pump was thinking to make an electric powered kart
Box of carb parts even the neighbor's toro 4.0 B&S that tossed a rod
Older briggs with a wind up pull cord..I should have saved that, only 1.5 HP so no good for mini bikes.
Home made paper towel dispenser for my space in the 2 car garage

I have no clue as to what model.. It was on a reel mower 1.5 HP, not enough HP for me. A pic I found on the web. This is what it looked like. The neighbors moved to NJ, from Downers Grove Ill in '68. They took good care of all their stuff.

I'm not sure how their different. They are a bit different. For example one of them works as a "favorite" or "bookmark" and one doesn't.

I think that most folks, or at least active users, have stories that are vaguely similar. It's cool that you have it documented in the way that you do, images. I don't think that many of us stopped to think to do so, or we ever really wanted there to be any evidence of what we did, if you get my drift.

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.
Yamaha YS 240 TB "Ricky" latest Craigslist find- on the bench now.
