Funny, before i even clicked on the link, that was my first thought.. Leave them white to torture the kids.

I am definitely NOT dreaming of a White Easter..

No snow here, but this thread reminds me of something that happened a few decades ago.

I had a close friend, who had no kids, help me hide the chocolate eggs
around the house one year and he kinda got carried away.

The kids, as well as my wife, were finding eggs as late as September.
When he hid 'em, he hid 'em good.

The "kids" still talk about this when the family gets together.........

We had a bit of rain overnight. It had a significant impact on this resilient snow cover.
