I don't mind so much the Christmas goodies being out in the store as I do the annoying Christmas Music that should not start to be played until AFTER Thanksgiving.

My local Home Depot has all the tractors and lawn mowers on close out. Lots of fresh snow machines available too.

Nuts, isn't it? I saw them putting out the fake Christmas trees at a store the other day myself. Just isn't right.

I'm pretty much retired from the forum thing, but I check in every now and then.

If only stores would play actual Christmas carols instead of the STUPID songs that only claim to be Christmas music it would be fine. I get really disgusted hearing garbage like "rockin' around the Christmas tree" etc. Whatever happened to Silent Night, O little Town of Bethlehem etc.?

IF AT ALL I don't mind the Muzak style in the background but the ones with people singing just drive me nuts.
And then there are the BELL RINGERS !!

The FleetFarm store I was at this morning is already clearing out the lawn and garden for the Halloween stuff and have an area walled off that's getting set up for Christmas !!

.
Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!

Don't worry, it'll all work out in the end!

Eventually they'll get so far ahead that in early December they'll be putting out next year's Christmas stuff.

~1994 Ariens 924084 (ST1032) "papa bear": restored, re-engined, real nice!
1991 Ariens 924050 (ST824) "mama bear"
Toro PowerCurve 1800 "baby bear"

Be alert! America needs more lerts.
